Our Business Development program offers recent college graduates the opportunity to step out of the classroom and into a career in operations, engineering, or sales.
This 6-month, fully paid placement provides real work experience, exposure to multiple career paths in our company and the broader industry, and the ability to start building your professional portfolio. We regard every participant as a potential leader.

The Business Development Program
During the program, you'll learn directly from Flowers leaders and gain an understanding for multiple areas of our organization while you build hands-on experience as a full-time employee. Areas you’ll explore:
Operations – Work side-by-side with our bakery teams as they produce our iconic products.
Engineering – Make an impact on the floor with a focus on what it takes to keep production flowing.
Distribution – Learn how we deliver our products to retailers across the country.
Sales – Operate a territory alongside our area sales directors and key account representatives to ensure the shelves stay stocked.
Applicants must be a graduate of an accredited 4-year college or university and have a valid state driver’s license. You may be asked to relocate for full-time employment.
