Jumpstart your civilian career with Flowers' DoW Skillbridge program!
As a service member, your unique experience and skills add tremendous value to our company.
Flowers offers hands-on, immersive training specially designed to help transitioning service members turn their military skills into long-term civilian employment.
The 12-week program offers three specialized tracks within one of our commercial bakeries:
• Production – Work on the frontline, operating automated production equipment to bake our iconic products. • Industrial Maintenance – Utilize mechanical and troubleshooting skills to ensure our products never stop moving. • Quality and Food Safety – Apply strict attention to detail to confirm all products adhere to quality and safety regulations.
Each track provides a holistic view of our bakery operations, allowing you to develop your skills while learning more about potential careers in commercial baking. Upon successful completion of the program, top participants will be offered full-time placement at one of our bakeries nationwide.
Requirements & Expectations
• Military Status: Active-duty member with at least 4 years of service • Mobility: Must be open to nationwide relocation for your post-program full-time role
