DSD Sales Coordinator

Responsible for performance of a variety of detailed and analytical tasks relative to pricing, distributor relations, and the assessment of needs and requirements of our customers. Responsible for timely and accurate execution of tasks through written and verbal communication with internal departments and external vendors. Requires constant interaction with work group and other departments at the primary work location.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 
•    Gather, consolidate and analyze sales reports to effectively monitor company sales. 
•    Responsible for communicating relevant issues to vice president sales and sales management 
•    Report identified market trends and demand performance. 
•    Coordinate and maintain all pricing including zone and special pricing in SAP, DSD pricing for all key accounts, and ZPLP private label pricing. 
•    Draft and publish all price change and feature trade letters. 
•    Coordinate and maintain all Pay by Scan information. 
•    Analyze reporting to manage sales forecast, adjust forecast and improve forecast accuracy. 
•    Prepare documents for the sale and repurchase of distributor territories and maintain distributor period reports. 
•    Maintain weekly truck reports, review and reconcile truck leases and insurance charges weekly. 
•    Responsible for gathering, consolidating and organizing data into meaningful report formats. 
•    Responsible for any ad hoc and special reporting needs of the department. 
•    Prepare, review, and submit to management business development plans and sales objectives as required. 
•    Establish and maintains sound business relationships. 
•    Manage communication flow and issue resolution with customer and internal departments (sales, marketing, demand planning, logistics, and customer service). 
•    Maintain cleanliness of work area. 
•    Practice and comply with all Company policies and procedures (including EEO, Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes Oxley, etc.) 
•    Performance of other duties which are deemed by management to be an integral part of the job, including but not limited to fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and practicing and complying with all Company operating rules, policies and procedures.

Desired Experience

Three to five years minimum experiences within the food industry including positions in sales. Excellent planning, oral and written communication skills. Good negotiation skills. Intermediate to advanced level computer software skills; Excel, SAP, Word, Lotus Notes, Power Point.

Desired Education

B.S. in Business or equivalent experience.

Bakery experience preferred.
