Sales Analyst II - Remote

Performs a variety of detailed and analytical task relative to assessment and determination of needs and requirements of national accounts customers. Responsible for all baseline and trend item forecasting activities within sales category. Responsible for timely and accurate execution of tasks through written and verbal communication with internal departments and external vendors. Requires constant interaction with work group and other departments at the primary work location.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Gather, consolidate and analyze sales reports to effectively monitor company sales with national customers.
  • Responsible for communicating relevant issues to vice president sales and category manager.
  • Report identified market trends and demand performance.
  • Provide accurate sales reports to category manager for modular construction.
  • Analyze reporting to manage sales forecast, adjust forecast and improve forecast accuracy.
  • Responsible for gathering, consolidating and organizing data into meaningful report formats.
  • Assist national accounts buyer and category advisor with modular analysis.
  • Prepares new item financial scorecards to measure new items performance.
  • Responsible for any ad hoc and special reporting needs of the department.
  • Generates Line Overview reports to identify item trait concerns, zero sales and sell-through.
  • Prepare, review, and submit to management business develop plans and sales objectives as required.
  • Establish and maintains sound business relationships.
  • Assist in producing effective sales presentations.
  • Manages communication flow and issue resolution with customer and internal departments (sales, marketing, demand planning, logistics, and customer service).
  • Maintains cleanliness of work area.
  • Performs other duties as directed by supervision.
  • Practices and complies with all Company policies and procedures (including EEO, Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes Oxley, etc.)
  • Performs of other duties which are deemed by management to be an integral part of the job, including but not limited to fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and practicing and complying with all Company operating rules, policies and procedures.

Desired Experience

Three year to five minimum experiences within the food industry including positions in sales. Excellent planning, oral and written communication skills. Good negotiation skills. Intermediate to advanced level computer software skills; Excel, SAP, Word, Lotus Notes, Power Point.

Desired Education

B.S. in Business or equivalent experience.
