Bringing Home the Dough
Role is responsible for leading and executing internal and external communication strategies that enhance the Company’s reputation, engage stakeholders, and support business objectives.
Rising to the Challenge: Position Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• External Communications:
• Support media relations efforts, including proactive storytelling, press releases, and reactive media inquiries.
• Collaborate with Brand teams, Legal, and Investor Relations to ensure consistent messaging across all external touchpoints.
• Support issues and crisis communications planning and response, ensuring alignment with other internal teams.
• Internal Communications:
• Develop and implement internal communication strategies that foster employee engagement, alignment, and culture.
• Partner with HR, Operations, and Executive Leadership to support business initiatives and organizational updates.
• Craft compelling executive communications, including speeches, talking points, and employee-facing announcements.
• Collaborate with the Sr. Manager of Digital Communications to develop messaging for internal communications channels including the intranet, LinkedIn, and digital signage.
• Other:
• Support the development of the company’s annual Corporate Responsibility report, as well as other investor-directed materials.
• Measure and report on the effectiveness of communication strategies using KPIs and analytics.
• Collaborate with agency partners and external vendors to support communication initiatives.
• Practice and comply with all company policies and procedures (EEO, Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes Oxley, etc.)
• Perform other duties deemed by management to be an integral part of the job, including but not limited to fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and other applicable operating rules, policies and procedures.
Knead to Know: Preferred Qualifications
• Minimum 8 years’ progressive experience in corporate communications, including:
• Proven track record in both internal and external communications, including crisis management and
• Experience managing cross-functional projects and agency relationships.
• Food, CPG, or Manufacturing sector experience preferred.
Additional Ingredients: Essential Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or public relations is required.
We offer a competitive salary and an excellent total rewards package. Salary ranges from $115,000 - $130,000. Please reply by Monday, December 1.
