Bringing Home the Dough

A Brand Manager has significant and measurable impact on revenue and margin growth by leading cross-functional teams to commercialize innovative, consumer-driven products. The Brand Manager supports both short and long-term brand strategy using consumer insights to craft brand tactics and messaging accordingly. The ability to connect and build strong relationships with internal and external partners daily (e.g. consumer insights, revenue management, sales, innovation, procurement, supply chain and finance) is a must. It is imperative that the Brand Manager be creative, strategic, data savvy, and a strong communicator. 

Rising to the Challenge: Position Responsibilities

• Provide input and insight to Senior Brand Director and other members of the Dave's Killer Brand (DKB) Brand Team to establish short- and long-term brand vision that aligns with BU and category strategies, determine key growth drivers, and develop consumer-specific objectives to drive profitable growth across the DKB Better-For-You Snacking business.
• Work closely with the Brand Director and other members of the DKB Brand Team/Growth Brands Team to oversee day-to-day administrative duties at the brand leve, inclusive of sample coordination, invoice maintenance, fulfillment of POS and coupons, etc.
• Support Senior Brand Director and other members of the DKB Better-For-You Snacking Brand Team to manager and own elements of the Brand P&L
• Collaborate with agency partners and both Dave's Killer Bread (DKB) Teams to plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across various channels (i.e. digital, print, broadcast, in-store, and social media)
• Develop and maintain a dashboard of key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales volume, market share, brand awareness, brand equity, and consumer loyalty for each product portfolio within the entire DKB Better-For-You Snacking business, to be shared with the broader team at a regular cadence
• Work with the Omnichannel Marketing team to develop and execute Shopper Marketing and E-commerce plans across all retailers from Brick and Mortar to E-retailers.
• Partner cross-functionally with R&D and product development teams on new product innovation within the Organic Snack Bites platform and future category expansion from initial ideation and concept development, to packaging design, pricing strategy, and launch plans.
• Partner with key stakeholders on the Retail Customer and 3rd party Broker teams to design and execute integrated retail customer marketing plans that optimize product placement, promotions, in-store execution, and ultimately drive business objectives.
• Maintain brand budget to optimize spend efficiency and stay on track with budget expectations.
• Mentorship role with Marketing Associates, Associate Brand Managers or Interns to achieve brand and professional development goals

Knead to Know: Preferred Qualifications

• At least 4-7 years of relevant experience in brand management, innovation, marketing, or strategy.
• Previous experience with data analysis and insight development required.
• Cross-functional experience leading projects with diverse teams.
• Experience with new product development and bringing ideas/products to market.
• Must possess excellent communication skills and comfortable presenting both virtually and in-person to large groups.
• Experience mentoring marketing associates, assistant/associate brand managers or interns

Additional Ingredients: Essential Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Marketing, Business or related curriculum required
  • Master's degree preferred

 

We offer a competitive annual salary range of $92,550 - $125,000 and an excellent total rewards package.
