Bringing Home the Dough
Reporting to the Senior Graphic Designer and Brand Manager, the Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating and delivering marketing design support for the expansion and growth of our brand portfolios. An integral part of the development and execution of marketing support materials and technology to reach these audiences include: internal stakeholders, retailer, distributors, shoppers and consumers.
Rising to the Challenge: Position Responsibilities
• Create engaging and attractive graphics that convey target messages
• Leverage variety of graphic design software tools to create inventive design concepts
• Print Design – ads, brochures, sell sheets, posters, at shelf point of purchase materials, etc.
• Trade Show booth design
• Direct mail campaigns
• Iterate designs with stakeholders across multiple departments, when needed
• Collaborate with copywriters, marketing strategists and executives to ensure designs align with larger marketing strategies
• Understand and work within Flowers Foods’ graphic design standards, brand positioning and FDA / regulatory conditions
• Network with graphic design professionals to stay informed on trends in the digital user experience
• Experience with packaging design
• Ability to extend brand concepts to various product categories and packaging formats
• Experience or working knowledge of web design and maintenance
• Experience or working knowledge of Video Production
Knead to Know: Preferred Qualifications
• Minimum of 2-3 years of work experience as Graphic Designer. Strong leadership/team and project management skills. Expertise in graphic design software/technologies, including Adobe Creative Suite Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator. Professional photography experience preferred. Simultaneously manage multiple design projects with competing timelines and deadlines. Typography knowledge, CPG design experience preferred, creativity, strong verbal communication skills, flexibility, technical and creative problem-solving skills, experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
Additional Ingredients: Essential Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field.
