Bringing Home the Dough
Performs scheduled/unscheduled maintenance and installation tasks on the physical plant, equipment and machinery, according to standards. Position requires demonstration of competency for all on-the-job activities that may have a direct or indirect affect on product safety, legality and/or quality.
Starting pay rate; $30.00 p/hour
Rising to the Challenge: Position Responsibilities
- Performs assigned preventative maintenance tasks.
- Performs scheduled maintenance on plant equipment and machinery.
- Responds to and corrects equipment stoppage/mechanical breakdown. Troubleshoots (when Necessary). Repairs/replaces worn/defective parts, motors, control devices, etc.
- Operates machine shop equipment, hand tools, power hand tools
- Maintains cleanliness of work area.
- Position requires the ability to act as a member of a highly functioning team.
- Practices and complies with all Company policies and procedures including safety and work Schedules, etc.
- Performs other duties as directed by supervision.
Knead to Know: Preferred Qualifications
Two (2) or more years' experience in hands-on industrial maintenance and/or formal industrial maintenance training.

MOBILITY- Ability to move to all production areas of the plant.
Physical ability to stand and perform work for a full shift on a daily basis.
Ability to climb fixed and portable ladders
Ability to stop and bend while lifting weights up to fifty (50) pounds.
Ability to climb onto and crawl under machinery as required.
SENSORY- Ability to view the product at all workstations and determine adherence to quality Control standards (size, shape, color, cut, etc.).
Ability to distinguish color-coded equipment, operating controls, labels, alarms, and signs.
Ability to hear and distinguish audible alarms.
The hearing, vision, and smell faculties sufficient to detect malfunctions in applicable equipment.
Must have the ability to read, write, and comprehend written instruction and record information applicable to the position. Must be able to communicate in English and/or other language if required.
Ability to read, comprehend and practice necessary safety procedures, signs, etc.
Ability to wear and use approved, applicable safety equipment, as needed.
Ability to research, ascertain, develop, implement, and monitor required policies and procedures.
Ability to work in extreme heat.
