Bringing Home the Dough

The Facilities Maintenance Technician support and maintain the facility/infrastructure systems by ensuring they remain in optimal working condition, with safety and quality standards being a top priority. The ideal candidate must possess a technical mindset and demonstrate strong mechanical capabilities, while being flexible and adaptable, as they will be required to rotate job assignments throughout various locations. The Facility Maintenance Technician must have the aptitude and drive to seek and acquire ongoing training due to ever-evolving technological improvements and performance standards

Rising to the Challenge: Position Responsibilities

  • Execute routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs across multiple property locations
  • Maintain and troubleshoot facility/infrastructure systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC
  • Partner with leadership on facility improvements, installations, and upgrades, coordinating with external vendors and contractors as needed
  • Maintain warehouses, tools, and equipment inventory, ensuring all assets remain secure, organized, and in optimal working condition
  • Prioritize and resolve maintenance requests while ensuring all work orders, labor hours, and parts used are accurately documented
  • Maintain flexibility to work modified or extended shifts, including evenings and weekends, based on project demands and/or emergency repairs
  • Practice and comply with all Company policies and procedures (EEO, Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes Oxley, etc.)
  • Perform other duties which are deemed by management to be an integral part of the job, including but not limited to fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and other applicable operating rules, policies, and procedures
  • Possess or attain licenses required by their respective municipal, county/ward or state regulatory agencies to work with boilers, refrigeration components and various other job-related equipment

Knead to Know: Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2+ years experience in building/facilities maintenance (industrial or commercial preferred)
  • Working knowledge in HVAC, welding, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems
  • CMMS systems experience a plus
  • Valid United States driver's license
  • Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, and climb
  • Ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds
  • Ability to work in varying environmental conditions (i.e. heat, cold, confined spaces, etc.)
  • Occasional availablity outside of normal business hours to respond to after-hours emergencies or business-critical issues
  • Can work independently
  • Ability to read, write, and have excellent organizational and communication skills

Additional Ingredients: Essential Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Technical/trade school certification or diploma is a plus
  • OSHA or safety training certification a plus

Salary Range-  50000 - 55000
