Bringing Home the Dough

Operates Model K machine, ensures that dough pieces are correct weight and size and flow into overhead correctly. Position requires demonstration of competency for all on-the-job activities that may have a direct or indirect affect on product safety, legality and/or quality.

Rising to the Challenge: Position Responsibilities

Sets up all equipment according to established standards (guides, cutters, speed, weight, etc.).
Ensures dough pieces are proper size and weight according to standards.
Ensures proper sheeting, molding and panning per production standards.
Sets speed on dough-flo per production standards.
Maintains cleanliness of work area.
Practices and complies with all Company policies and procedures including safety and work rules, etc.
Ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures (EEO, Sexual Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes Oxley, etc.)
Performance of other duties which are deemed by management to be an integral part of the job, including but not limited to fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and other applicable operating rules, policies and procedures
Must meet/maintain CDC food handling requirements and other governmental and/or customer requirements.

Knead to Know: Preferred Qualifications

• 1 or more years of production experience in an industrial food manufacturing facility, preferably in bun/roll production.

Additional Ingredients: Essential Job Requirements

• Must have physical ability to stand a minimum of 8 hours to a maximum of 16 hours.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, and ability to routinely stoop and bend while lifting 20 lbs. of material.
• Ability to climb 20-foot stepladder carrying up to 20 lbs. of material and reach out 2 feet to top of hopper.
• Ability to exert force necessary to move wheeled container weighing up to 500 lbs a distance of 300 feet, or with assistance move a container weighing up to 2400 pounds a distance of 50 feet.
• Hearing and vision sufficient to detect malfunction of all related machines, and to distinguish color coded equipment, operating controls, labels, alarms and signs.
• No educational prerequisite; however, must have demonstrated ability to read, comprehend and record information applicable to the job.

Salary Range- $22.97 - $24.26 hourly
