Bringing Home the Dough
The Transportation Analyst provides key financial and analytical insights across corporate logistics, warehouse logistics and distribution departments. The role is supported by our digital investment and utilizes tools to provide greater insights and dynamic reporting to drive operational achievement. The role is responsible for weekly, bi-weekly and period financial reporting supporting day-to-day management along with our S&OP process. The Transportation Analyst will support the Manager of Digital Logistics & COE across any ad-hoc requests that are focused on driving efficiency and reducing our year-over-year costs. This role requires a digitally savvy and data-driven leader who looks for ways to improve reporting and visibility to drive stronger accountability.
Rising to the Challenge: Position Responsibilities
• Develop weekly, period, quarterly, and annual KPI reporting of logistics performance
• Interact with bakery, regional, and corporate team members to provide analytical logistics performance data and insights.
• Develop materials and insights for the bi-weekly logistics performance calls, regional logistics performance meetings and ad-hoc requests.
• Create and maintain reporting dashboards using various Business Intelligence (BI) tools while partnering with the technical product owner and digital products team members.
• The following roles and responsibilities can vary by the individual logistics performance manager:
o Brokerage: maintain brokerage capability including setting our strategy, new carrier onboarding, carrier quotation participation and all brokerage related reporting/ value tracking. Also, serve as the single point person that brokers all planned and unplanned brokerage freight needs.
o Backhaul: maintain backhaul capability including setting our strategy, maintaining strong relationship with Procurement, constantly evaluating opportunities across brokerage or on our own assets, utilizing the brokerage tool for quotation and all backhaul related/ reporting/ value tracking
o Warehouse Frozen Network: Provide transportation support for warehouse operations, managing both inbound and outbound loads to oversee the frozen network.
o Budget: provide insights and opportunities on the corporate logistics budget each period and share with key corporate logistics leaders
• Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the carrier community always

• Performance of other duties which are deemed by management to be an integral part of the job, including but not limited to fulfillment of work schedules, adhere to attendance policies, and other applicable operating rules, policies and procedures.

- Authorization to work in the United States
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders across the organization
- Must be willing to adapt to different work settings as required by schedule
- Must possess extremely good organizational skills with the ability to multitask, work independently, and to effectively prioritize
- Ability to generate written and verbal communication as well as read and review correspondence
- Ability to attend work on a regular and consistent basis
- Possess entrepreneurship, leadership, attention to detail, analytical skills and creative thinking are necessary
Additional Ingredients: Essential Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in operations, logistics, or other supply chain management related field
- Minimum of 2 years of shipping and relay experience
Salary Range- 58800 -60000
